Our group focuses on the development of non-invasive photonic i.e. micro-spectroscopic methods for an in vitro and in vivo detection and characterization of HHDPs and HHDP-peptide interactions. In particular Raman-based methods like e.g. micro-Raman, resonance Raman, SERS, and CARS should be applied since these methods yield a molecular fingerprint of the investigated systems and are capable to derive valuable information about interactions and/or changes in different environments.
